Our Angels Choir
This is a catholic choir that was formed in March 1986 as the main church choir at St. Josephs Parish Matale. The choir has 46 members now and is the Lead choir at the parish taking Lead of the 7am, 9am and 6pm mass on sundays. The choir's main Mission is: ''Evangelistic preaching through music for everyone".
Apart from singing, the choir is involved in voluntary activities by working with the children, the elderly, the sick.
The choir carries out retreats, concerts, outreaches and worship seminars. We not only serve the lord through our voices but with our hearts too especially with small donations and voluntary work.
The Parish church
Matale parish is one of the parishes of Masaka diocese, it was started in 1953 and it has been in existence for 60 years, its located in Rakai district and it has a population of 35,000 Catholic Christians, it has 3 priests who are serving the lord with 17 sub parishes and 3 nuns assisting in serving the Lord and serving the Christians
The Choir Executive
The choir executive comprised of: Chairperson, treasurer, choir mistress, music director, store manager, projects manager, choir administrator. They work as a team to help out in the management of the choir and they are competent, serve the lord and serve the community. Elections are held each year and the choir participates fully.
They are a group of talented individuals..... and serve fully.
